MSA Pictures
That's of course, george abraham thampy. If you haven't heard the name before, he's the national spelling bee champion and national geography bee 2nd place who goes to westminster. He was basically the best chess player at MSA. He's also extremely humble and extremely friendly.
These were some great people I met in the last week. Fun times.
Ah, that's my minor teacher, Bill Heyde, on the right (who taught my short stories class) and my PSD RA on the left, Adam. They are two SO GREAT guys. "SOOOO GREAT!" is a catchphrase that Bill Heyde says all the time and it's excellent when he says it.
Ah, my major teacher, Don Arni, of the "Puzzles, Games, and Problem Solving" class. He teaches at Glascow school district (division IIIA) where he sponsors the academic team, the math team, and other such teams. He can do the rubix cube in under a minute ( that's his record). What a dominator.
Eric Feng from Parkway West wearing chain mail some girl made from iron filings or something like that. It was hard to take the chain mail off though, haha.
That's eric feng on my left and alex song on my right. in case you don't know him, alex is the state math champion and is the blackest asian person I know. Man, he's hella tite, daw. Ignore the stain on my pants, thanks.
Boy, I am looking fugly in this picture. Anyway, this was the last dinner served at MSA and it was excellent. Chicken parmesan, steak, alfredo, cheesecake, etc. Excellent, excellent.
Isaac from Kansas City. He's half asian and speaks chinese better than me/song combined. I think he just finished calculus. Ha, you can see me taking a picture of him in the mirror. This was in the hallway of the fourth floor of mark twain residence hall.
My roommate, josh, from birch tree missouri. He's a nice guy, who didn't exactly seem like he spent all day studying (opposite from what I expected MSA to be like). He hated MSA to begin with and waited desperately for the last day. His mom forced him to come and he was the only one from his county who even applied to get into MSA. I think he had something like 5 girlfriends in two months. He bought a shot glass as a souvenir and smoked in the shower. But at the end of MSA, I think he ended up liking it (like everybody else).
Ah, the Mark Twain Market, where we ate our buffet meals. The food there was excellent, except for the vegetables (always steamed or boiled...ugh). The "homstyle" lane varied everyday, while the "Grille" had basically mcdonald's type food everyday. Deli, soups, pizza, and other things were available basically everyday. I hate a frozen yogurt soft serve cone nearly every lunch and dinner...hey, its fat free!
Another picture of some dominatory people. Except the guy on the right was pretty annoying at times...he thought he looked like harry potter and was obsessed with magic the gathering...he was basically the stereotypical nerd. His head looks freakishly huge in this picture.
My minor/psd class. I met some really cool people here.
Ah, my beautiful toilet...which I shared with three other people. Oh, and yea, the roll of toilet paper was always placed on the floor. Cleaniless is godliness, i always say.
Tyler winders (a guy who shared the toilet with me). He pulled so many practical jokes on our dorm room since he could just come in through the bathroom. He sprayed josh's pants with hair spray cause he thought they'd make them stiff...instead it just flattened out the wrinkles. Haha. What a dominator.
